If the preview content is anything to go by, Nylon Taboo could certainly be a top runner in its designated niche, but can this site really live up to all of its promises? The member’s area of Nylon-Taboo.com is pretty much identical to the tour page. Sadly, it appears that the site no longer updates with content, although the site could just be going through a dry spell as it’s only been a month since the last update. The site’s content is split in to four different niches; pantyhose & tights, stockings, thigh-high boots and knee-high boots. The site’s content actually dates all the way back to 2006 when it first got up and running. Since then, Nylon Taboo has produced over 700 quality photo sets – a number that a lot of micro niche sites don’t even come close to. As for the bonus sites promised - you get access to two other full paysites, namely Uniform Taboo and Teen Taboo. Both of these sites obviously cover their own fetishes and it doesn’t take a genius to work out what they are.
The photo sets on the site vary in size but most have at least 100 images attached. I was actually impressed with the 2000 x 1333 pixel resolution offered – certainly higher than what most other sites offer although there is the problem of not having any zipped photo sets to download. I don’t know what it is about sites not allowing you to access all of the photos at once, but it’s pretty much imperative for any decent site to give you a ZIP file to download with every set. There’s only 11 videos to choose from on the site that come in a mediocre resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, although the streaming bitrate of 4 mbps is certainly greater than what most other sites offer. Videos are only offered in WMV format but can be downloaded in whole or small 50 megabyte clips.
It’s a shame there wasn’t a whole lot of media to download from Nylon Taboo, the download server peaked at 1 MB/s and allowed me to get my movies in next to no time. Overall, I found the media to be okay but nothing amazing. With the bonus sites and reasonable quality images, Nylon Taboo could be worth a join, but it’s clear that this site isn’t the best in its niche.
